Peak Performance

Road to Riksgränsen

Overview

Peak Performance wanted a film with genuine editorial value rather than a standard product video. We delivered a three-part documentary series following world class athletes on a winter expedition through Scandinavia, displaying how their jacket keeps up in extreme conditions.

The Brief

Expand Peak's YouTube presence and support the Vertical Pro Jacket launch through a documentary-style format featuring two of their athletes, Paddy Graham and Kristoffer Turdell, on a winter expedition chasing conditions across Scandinavia.

Our Approach

We proposed a character-led mini documentary series, drawing on a Scandi visual language that matched the tone of the terrain and the athletes. When conditions shifted mid-production, as they always do, we folded the uncertainty into the narrative arc.

Running a super-light crew of one DOP doubling as director meant we could travel at the athletes' pace and stay out of the way of the story. The result felt like a genuine expedition film, not a branded content series.

Results

The three-part series accumulated 13,900 views in total, with episode three reaching 6,500 views and nearly doubling the opening episode. This showed strong audience retention and growth as the series progressed. It became one of Peak's most-viewed YouTube productions to date.
